For long and naturally curly hair, use those curls to give you a beautiful look instead of straightening them. On the other hand, if you're hair is straight, you can use loose French braids or twisted ponytails to add some flair rather than spend hours under the curling iron.

The French braid is one of the most versatile hairstyles for long hair whether straight or curly. Starting at the crown of your head, gather your hair into three sections and then gently weave your hair together until about four inches before you reach the end of your hair. Finish the ends with a bit of hair gel to keep them neat and then use a barrette to secure the braid in place.

For the times when you're in a real hurry, a twisted ponytail is a good way to handle your hair quickly without looking bland. Section your hair evenly to the left and right, bring each section up twisting the hair three to five times toward the back of the head. Pull the sections together at the back of the head and secure them in place with a pretty barrette or hair band.

It's just it will now matter on the design of the dress.

Here are few easy-to-follow tips as when it comes to wedding hairstyle.

1. Hairstylist for wedding hair styles

Having your very own hairstylist can definitely lift a little burden on your shoulders especially when talking about how you should look on your wedding day. One thing that you should do is to communicate with your stylist on certain hairstyles you like and which might be applicable to your face and personality. There will be a discussion as to what is hot and not in this years wedding hairstyle.

It is recommended to do practice sessions with your stylist in order to have a glimpse on how you look like in certain updos and other styles. You can even use your veil and see on the mirror how you look like and that's the time you decide what hairstyle you want to have on your wedding day.

Popular Hairstyles for Back to School

“Popular Hairstyles for Back to School”It's back to school time, so our readers are anxious to know what the most popular hairstyles of this year will be. Trends in hair color and haircuts will determine which popular hairstyles will be best for you this school year. So what are the trends in hair color and cuts? Looks like haircuts need to be versatile and fun while working with your natural texture. For hair color, I am seeing a lot of auburn, chocolate and toned down blonds in all the fall collections. Shows like Gossip Girl are helping shape the styling and accessorizing aspects of popular back to school hairstyles. Take a cue from these shows and add scarves and headbands to your hairstyles this school year.

Popular Hairstyles for Back to School

Vanessa Hudgens hits back to school hair color right on the mark with a  deep brunette shade. This school year, tone down your current hue and add richness to it to create beautiful depth and shine. What do I mean by adding richness?  If you are a light blond, try forgoing the bright highlights and ask your hairdresser for a toned down version of the blond. By low-lighting or using an over-all toner, you can gradually darken your hue for fall.

If you are a brunette, try a glaze over your current hair color to give it plenty of depth and shine. And if you want to tone down a wild shade of red, consider something more subdued like an auburn instead. When trying to pick a hair color for a client going back to school this year, I'll be looking to the colors of fall for inspiration.

Hairstyles with layers are a great way to add versatility to any hairstyle look this school year. Update your current look by adding a few layers around your face or even all over to enhance the natural texture of your hair and give it versatility. Celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel, suggests cutting hair shoulder length because, it allows you to play with different updo’s and textures. A medium length haircut like this one Anne Hathaway is wearing would be great for back to school because it's long enough to wear it in a variety of styles but short enough to cut down on your morning routine time.

Wedding Updos

wedding updo image

The hot summer is gone and the weather will be more and more cool, it's a good time for wedding. The updos are usually one of the most popular hair styles for weddings and can involve a variety of styles that include the hair being worn in a style that is off the face and involve basic styling which brings the hair.

Wedding updos for Autumn make use of the styles that can be created by pulling the hair back from the front of the head and creating a style that makes use of this pulled back hair. As there are  so many variations that can be created from the hairstyle – curls, straight hair and short hair can be used to create versatile hairstyles for Autumn.

A great way to dress up a half updo is to place a fresh or fake flower in the hair. This typically looks the best during the spring or summer months, but you can always brighten up the winter blahs. If you want a hair accessory that has a fake flower on it, be sure to look during prom season, when you will be expected to find good deals on clips during this time.

It is important to avoid washing the hair on the day that the style is being created to allow the natural oils to help create the style.  Especially when the hair is being woven into an updo or the hairstyle that is being created uses small waves within the hairstyle these natural oils within the hair are an important part of creating the hairstyle.

In order to make  sure that the hairstyle remains in the hair for an extended period of time it is important to use products that prepare the hair for the updo. This can include molding and texturizing paste within the hair that can help to reduce the hair coming out of the style.

Back to School Hairstyles

Back to School Hairstyles

Long and Short Back to School Hairstyles

Looking for more back to school hairstyles ideas? Here are some of my favorite back to school hairstyles for obvious reasons . . . they are quick and easy hairstyles when you'll be needing to fly out the door AND still look great at school!  For the easiest and quickest styling, leave those things that take the most time to the night... like shampooing, blow drying, and curling. Once that's taken care of, the hairstyle you choose to wear for the day will be a cinch! Pony tails, half up-dos, braids and crimps are fast and sweet if your hair is long. For shorter hair, think headbands, sparkly barrettes and a little bit-o-gel and you'll be set!

Get this boho look by parting hair down the middle. Take out a one inch section on both sides, a couple inches back from the hairline. Taking a two inch section above each ear, clip it out of the way. Brush hair into a low bun, tuck ends under and secure with bobby pins. Braid the one inch sections down and pin at nape or into the bun. Braid the two inch sections up and over the top of the head and secure with pins. Spray with a shine serum or smooth with a smoothing cream.

Ok, so maybe Rihanna is wearing a bit more sparkle than you would choose to wear back to school but if it were just a little bit less of it... like a barrette, or a sparkly bobby pin or two layered, it would be perfect for changing up your short back to school hairstyle!
